Unique barnyardy aroma. Hibiscus. Super drinkable; especially in the humidity. Almost like a wild ale. Can’t wait to pick up another bottle. — 5 years ago
Light. Dry but with touch of sweetness. — 5 years ago
Loved this wine. I dont usually favor pinot gris, but really enjoyed this one. A little fruit forward but not sweet. I cant have beer , so drank with boiled crawfish. It was great! — 6 years ago
Fantastic wine ! Lemon and candied citrus fruits balsamic notes, slight petrol , hint of honey when rotating the glass , very fresh dry and mineral. Neverending persistence, great acidity and minerals in mouth and petrol finish. — 7 years ago

Textbook Alsatian white. Dry, acidic, slightly chewy. Yum. Winestone. — 3 years ago
Golden in color and taste!!! Aromas of lychee, pear, honey, honeysuckle, and roses. Just slightly sweet. Went great with our spicy Cajun Catfish tonight providing a great balance and cooling effect. — 5 years ago
Clear, medium gold with nice with nice unncharacteristic legs given away high alcohol content for a Riesling. Nose of medium+ intensity, primary, developing. Honeysuckle, peach and hint of melon on the nose. Off dry palate with high acidity offsetting the medium+ body. Leads to a medium+ finish. Juicy, concentrated and flavorful now but should develop some interesting secondary notes adding to complexity down the line. — 5 years ago
Love this! — 6 years ago
Bracing acidity carries the lovely lemon and pear flavors. An amazing amount of acidic zing and tension in this 23-year-old. A great wine to pair with roast chicken. — 7 years ago
A fresh, mineral-driven nose with notes of wild flowers and touches of citrus and pear. The palate is very dry with ripe, full acidity. Lush, round flavors of crunchy pear and lemon zest lead to deep stony notes. The wine finishes a touch fruity and juicy with long, ripe acidity and a touch of earthiness. A wonderful pairing for good cheeses. — 9 years ago

Field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir from the Engelgarten, a vineyard with poor, gravelly soils located just outside the walls of Bergheim (about 10 miles north of Colmar, in the Haut Rhin). Pure, expressive nose with notes of citrus, rubber and minerals. Intense, dry, textured. Slightly ripe. Long, saline finish. — 4 years ago
Very aromatic Riesling from Alsace. Melon, white flowers, orange peel, even hint of ginger on those nose. Beautiful deep yellow, almost gold color. Mouth watering acidity with a persistent finish — 6 years ago
Crapped rainbows in my brain! Very complex but make sure you have a sweet tooth at 76 g/L — 9 years ago

Marmalade colored from 375ml. An acquired taste, this has clarity a good level of sweetness and balance. Not sure if I love the flavor overall though... Sort of tokaji-ish. But a quality wine for sure — 10 years ago
well this was delicious!!! pears and candied apples and a luscious mouthfeel — 12 years ago
I've never had a wine that tastes like this. At first hits you like a mature sweet wine, but without the presence of residual sugar. And then the savory notes come on, namely collard greens with the aunt you never had's bad touch of ham hock. Exquisite, pure, mature, $37! — 12 years ago

Opulent and hedonistic nose and entry. Wonderfully balanced feinherb/demi-sec mouthfeel on the midpalate and finish.
Complex and delightful wine, showing better on day 2.
