Super fresh, very light — a month ago
Dark ruby color with a cranberry colored meniscus. Intense aromas of tobacco, wet soil, graphite and dried purple flowers with a subtle black fruit note. The savory palate also is full of tobacco, bramble, dried citrus, black tea and baker’s chocolate with just a bit of black berry/cherry/plum fruit. Hint of baking spices on the medium finish. Very low acidity and little in the way of tannin. Probably a bit past its prime but still quite complex. Extremely earthy and dense. Better with aeration and with food. Also better the second day. — 5 days ago
Great Chianti, well balanced. — 3 days ago
Intense rioja, will age very well — 10 days ago
Brings to mind Thompson Seedless raisins. Like a port in table wine form. If you’re at a Bonpreu, this may be your safest bet amongst the reds. — a month ago

Delish. At first blush, it seems like this will be lighter than it should be, but then a rush of raspberry and brambleberry, with dried spice and earth comes in. Lovely. Had it with steak, and I think the steak over powered it a bit. Maybe better with a cheese plate or chicken or duck… would happily drink this again. — 11 hours ago
