Santa margherita
Pinot Grigio 2024
Pretty typical in taste. Clear. Nose doesn’t smell great. Old flowers. I think the meal ( mushroom tor tortellini with pesto and fresh wild mushrooms ) over plays the wine. I want to like whites but just hard to get down. This one was in the fridge making it much easier to put down. It’s really not that bad. Better than most I can remember. 8/10 for a white is like 8.5. 20$ — 8 days ago
A bit of a weird front taste with this wine. I haven’t been to France to know what is good. I’m not sure if I like this. I can tell you I don’t love it. Doesn’t go well with nacho cheese, went better with Friday pasta. Will finish the bottle but more that it’s a Friday and less that I really like it. My guess is 22. Actually 16-20. — 2 months ago
This maybe a redo later but it was opened yesterday and at first sip it was great. Reminded me of Spain. After I ate a questionable cheese that I found in the fridge it was a very strange taste. With some chocolate it was light and great then my kid found something under a plant that smelled of death. Now my nose is off. Palate not trustworthy. Even after all that, still enjoyable. I think. Will redo in the future. — 8 months ago

Got this bottle in last bottle. First try. Floral is nice. Light color. Nice light wine. Easy to drink. Nothing that’s taking my socks off if you know what I mean. I also had a tough last couple days so I’m not sure if it makes it taste better or worse. Let it sit for a min, it tastes good. Light oak. Current ? Not sure what a current is. 9.0. 25$. Worth it. — an hour ago
Cune imperial reserve 2019.
Tasty red. Reminds me of when we were there. Complex but nice. Opened up for new years. Enjoyed a nice glass prior to falling asleep waiting for the ball to drop. Dark ruby red. Little tannins. Nose was floral. Really easy to drink. Had it second day which was great. Happy new years with a flight of tacos (9/10). 40-50$. Would absolutely recommend this wine. So smooth. So silky. Like a nye dress. It s a 10-9… — 9 days ago
Good Pinot noir. Sonoma coast 2023 Easy to drink. Not sure where it’s from. Maybe from mikes who brought it to my house. Good discussion about buying a building. Recommend it. Easy. — 3 months ago

Opened it up for a Christmas Eve dinner that we host. Good but honestly way to busy to even really judge. Had it the following day(s) after as a wine by the fire post dinner and really liked it. It was refrigerator cold. Nice easy going rose. Light floral notes. Easy on the pallet. If it’s this good a few days out “decanted “ in the fridge, I can just assume it’s a treat when just opened. Not sure where to get it or the price but if you see it, try a bottle. — 7 days ago
Mayo family winery reserve 2016 Zinfandel old vines.
Nice zin. Smooth. Opened it last night. Had most of it. Tonight, Still tastes great. Had a wonderful time at the vineyard a long time ago. Brings me back where we hacked into their speaker and played dance music. 60+ bottle. But really just priceless to me. Thanks Seth. — 20 days ago
Nice amarone. Very easy to drink. Especially with the first Sunday sauce of the season. No heavy tannins. Nice nose, maybe some raspberries. The more I drink it the more likely I can finish a bottle. But busy week so just a nice glass with the family. Finally a bottle worth rating. Last few have been good to clean the pans with. Approx 50 $. — 2 months ago

2nd Pinot, back to back. This was a bit dark vs last one. More tannins than I would like. Little harder on the palate. Makes the tongue really pucker. Not a bad drink. Twist top. Good for a 2 win indoor soccer day. Great for playoff football. 8.4 $16 — an hour ago
