Not a huge fan of Sauvignon Blanc, but this is the opposite of chemically and gooseberry SBs. Fine, hint of citrus (not overpowering on the gooseberry) — 4 years ago
Fresh gooseberry, tropical, passion fruit. Joy :) — 3 years ago
Light straw color with green highlights. Intense aromas of passion fruit and grapefruit. The pallet is very fruit forward with gooseberry, grapefruit and lemon. Bit of a minerally finish. Crisp acidity. Refreshing. Pretty good (typical) NZ Sauvignon Blanc. — 4 years ago
New house SB! Delicious grapefruit, herbs, gooseberry. — 7 months ago
It’s been a few years since my last bottle of this and some extra cellartime has turned out to be beneficial for this one.
Lemonoil, gooseberry, elderflower, succulent pears, chalky stones for minerality. Today, there is a lovely balance in its well-rounded richness and youthful freshness, its sweet and ripe fruit notes and its persistent mineral finish. — 2 years ago
Characteristic #sancerre - leans more gooseberry & stone fruit with less prominent grassy aromas. Creamy texture on palate - delicious wine. — 4 years ago
If you are in the mood for a NZ Sauvignon Blanc that’s not tooo New Zealand here ya go. I like this one. Passion fruit and tangerines. Peach and pebbles. And just a touch of grass and gooseberry to remind you this is NZ Sauvignon Blanc — 4 years ago

My last bottle of the 2020, one of the riper versions I’ve had of this consistently excellent cuvée. Such deeply ripe gooseberry fruit that it crosses over into tropical. But there’s loads of freshness in the form of limestoney mineral scents. Ripe and deep on entry, but then the sneaky acids and the minerality clamps down, making the finish mouthwatering. Terrific accompaniment to our simple broiled haddock weeknight dinner. — 2 months ago
