Opened by mistake thought had multiple but was vertical of single bottle of '00-'09. Ruby color with purple tinge. Nice nose of dark fruits and earth. Peppers and savory on the palate. Supple and silky texture. Medium finish. 75% Merlot then Cab Franc. Drinking nicely. Should comp with other vintages!
Curious ave CVed (1/17/18).'06. More earthy ave funk on nose. Good balanced and acidic texture on palate and not as silky. Good long finish. 8.9. Perhaps more food friendly due to acidity. — 8 years ago
Subtle honeydew melon, gardenias, bitter almond flowers, pistachios. Vibrant rounded acid, oily rich texture, medium bodied, briny-salty floral finish. Mineral-texture driven, food friendly finish. Structure driven which makes it easy to overlook and under appreciate its unique texture. Much like a Rhone white. — 9 years ago
Refreshing but weighty w loads of citrus, a bit of stone fruit and lots of sea breeze minerality. Very food friendly pairing w a wide range from spring veggies while robust enough to pair w roast pork. — 10 years ago
2013 Isole e Olena Chianti Classico. Not usually very impressed with Chianti, but this is an exception. Barnyard nose, tart & sour cherry, very food friendly. — 10 years ago
Medium body, food friendly, low acidity. — 10 years ago

Fizzy, funky, ripe, rich, sweet mid palate dry finish. Really good. From B. United. — 13 years ago
Pleasantly surprised by this bottle. Not much flavor from the first couple of sips, but nice and dry + crisp. Overall really refreshing and well-balanced. — 5 years ago
Do NOT sleep on White BDX. This is ethereal, lacy, fresh cut white flowers—killer with chilled King Crab legs. As the price of Burgundy becomes more and more offensive I am turning to other regions that offer high quality wine at reasonable price points. This bottle is an easy pounder—and food friendly—for sub $20 is exactly what I’m looking for. — 7 years ago
Great! Gentle full body. Friendly character and smooth finish. Yumm. — 8 years ago

Black and a hint of blue fruit. Hints of dried herbs, olive, meat. Bright acidity and a fleshy fruit character on the palate. Tannins run right down the palate without being too overwhelming. Definitely old world in style but still showing lots of new world approachability. To me northern Rhône carries more earthy and non-fruit tones. I really enjoy how food friendly this is. — 10 years ago
Really, really nice, esp at this price point. Light color, nice fruit, flowery nose, serious tannins. Very food friendly and flexible. A joy. Mellowed out on day 2, but I liked it more when it was sharper day 1.

Melange of white varietals tasting more or less like a California Central Coast white Rhône blend, in a good way—minerally, slightly herbal, complex and food friendly. Reminded me of Eberle Cotes-du-Robles Blanc. Enjoyed the 2016 vintage with a dozen $1 Wednesday Special oysters, grilled Spanish octopus and Crab Louis salad. — 7 years ago
Consistent in style with other CdT wines. Light and food friendly. — 9 years ago

Awesome cru Beaujolais. Aromatic nose of cranberries, earth, and spice. Elegant but rustic if that makes any sense. Really tasty on the palate with great acidity, balance, and complexity. Really food friendly. Awesome. — 10 years ago
A pretty tremendous effort. Dry, crisp acidity but super food friendly. Really enjoyable bottling — 11 years ago
