Lovely bottle sweetness, dark fruits, leather, some currants, the Cabernet dominates right now over the Syrah, lovely depth and complexity, long, lingering finish, excellent older southern French blend!! — 3 months ago

@Tom Casagrande, I have some bottles left (1988, 1989, mag of 1990, and I think 1995), these were always amazing!!

Nice to see the old world doing a Cabernet Syrah blend. A great blend and very common in Australia as you know.

This can develop a while of course but nothing at all wrong with it right now with some choice southern-inspired thanksgiving leftovers. All about the garrigue and sun baked red fruit at this point, tertiary elements not really showing yet but ample structure to get there — 7 months ago

Heavy for a Bandol. Quite good - leathery and spicy. As one reviewer noted, more like a Napa cab, but more going on. Good rec from Lower Falls Wine Shop. — 2 years ago
