Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins ending with smoky notes, cacao and earthy sweet notes. Just starting to drink now, but a few more years will benefit. — 2 months ago

Excellent wine with some fruit mainly strawberries and some earthy elements. Very smooth and integrated with a long finish. Think it would have been a bit better with some time but it was opened and poured.

On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with toasty notes and herb cinnamon spice. Full-bodied, fine soft textured tannins, long finish ending with juicy fruit and spicy herb character. Really a quite nice Barolo from a producer I hadn’t had before. Quite accessible at this stage - not at all over oaked or anything - but still in a “more modern” style. Some nice delicacy in the glass - the fruit, earth, and acid all expressing well. — 2 months ago
