Château Phélan Ségur

Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2014

Very nice. Bold but not abrasive with alcohol like younger Bordeaux can be. Cab dominant but can tell the Merlot is there too - balanced but you can still tell the cab comes first. Tannins are well integrated. 2014 vintage…could go longer - still youthful in fruit. Drinking great now though. — 5 days ago

Beaujolais-Villages Gamay 2024

Light bodied red… strawberry notes especially on the nose. Some spice notes. Very decent bottle from Publix, think I’m enjoying this vintage more than last years. — 16 days ago

Château Pavie Macquin

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2022

Blend of 80% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, floral spice and smoky cedar notes. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry and black cherry with cacao, tobacco, licorice and smoky spice. Fine tannins, well balanced on long finish, ending with fruit, cedar, smoke and earthy mineral character. Very nice, will age well but wait a few more years to really enjoy! — 10 days ago

Well super highly rated. Quite fruit driven and juicy. Easily drink now. Hard to pin down / i am a a pinot guy after all. Could age for 15 years or so but would not keep it too long. — 6 days ago
