Beaujolais-Villages Gamay

Clear, pale ruby to purple in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary aromas of raspberries, hibiscus, and fresh strawberries, on the palate, it's dry with medium plus acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, light body, and pronounced primary flavors of sour cherries, black tea, and pomegranates with a long finish. This wine is simple, but with enough acidity to balance the fruit. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie liked it with food.
