Juice world. Cherries. GSMC blend. Great find at Vin Chicago. — a year ago
Held up well over the 21 years. Complex red and dark fruits, smoke, white pepper. A little Brett that eased with air and ended up adding to the complexity. — 4 years ago
What a great find! Received the 2000 vintage bottle via an exchange in the Bay Area & couldn’t be more thrilled. Usually a North snob, this Product of the Boudreaux region is simply a treat. Not too many in the states left where I shop, so I was able to savior this special number 🙏🌎 — 5 years ago
Wine club selection October 2019, tastes like a crisp cold fall day - nice tannin, rich with a light peppery dark fruit taste — 6 years ago
Nice golden hue, looks heavy and rich in the glass. Honeyed fragrant nose. Notes of sweet apricot, mango, lemon, white clay, tan spice, and stones. Nice intensity in the mouth, with gobs of fruit matched against acidity that built over the afternoon. Telltale aged Raveneau honey, exotic today but not over the top. I brought this and it was the best of the couple or so bottles of it that I've had. Was at its best with ~5 hours of air, and leftover was still singing the next morning. — 6 years ago
First time trying this. Opened 8 hours before and decanted for 4, which I’d suggest at this stage. I don’t think I would have guessed Bordeaux blind, probably would have gone something from Piedmont. Not actually giving a ton on the nose, but quite nice and deep plum / purple fruited / leathery on the palate. Hauntingly balanced finish that goes on and on. Very nice. — 9 months ago
This was # 4 of 4 from a Costco package. I think the best of the 4. Smooth, jammy and full. Not to dry. Too bad I can't get more.... — 3 years ago
2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 5 years ago
Loved this...DEF needed more time to air out. Tart red fruit, smoky campfire, slight grilled meats, whole cluster stinkiness, med plus acid....long finish. Great stuff, mote time in decanter and this is a super star! La La! — 7 years ago
Very fresh and typical wine from Cassis. — 10 months ago
Very nice tonight with a pork schnitzel and excited to see how this develops. Opened 10 hours before dinner and decanted for 3 hours. I do think the air helped everything even out a bit. Nice restrained fruit, good linear core of minerality and acid, decently fresh with still some ever so slightly funky earth on the finish. — a year ago
Reddish tawny. Youthful nose. Notes of black currants, blackberries, herbs and spices and some menthol. Silky in the mouth, although at first it comes off as delicate. With more air, some spice and white pepper notes develop, and this goes full on Chave and Hermitage power on you... Not bad for Syrah that's pushing 40 years in age! — 4 years ago

Served alongside beef short rib, xo sauce, pickled mustard seed, cumin stir-fried asparagus. Yes, the 2003 Dominus is big. However, it is also balanced and showing classic Napa typicity with beautifully ripe and some slightly wizened black and red fruit, tobacco, cocoa, some purple flowers and baking spices. I found this to be quite balanced after all the air it saw. Wonderful structure for continued aging as well. Drink now through 2043. — 6 months ago
