This was (despite the consensus that said it was an awful vintage) all about elegance . Lovely fragrant nose of shoe polish, leather and earth. In the mouth black fruit , pepper and gamey flavors on a moderate finish . Elegance personified .

Sublime depth and complexity, mushroom, leather, black pepper, charcuterie, intergrated with beautiful red and black fruit. Beautiful texture and weight - rounded but with good heft. Lots of oomph
