Yep, dark mature fruited minerals and good long finish — 2 months ago
2008 vintage. A bit yeasty at the onset but that receded into the background relatively quickly. Plenty of power/acidity afoot with no danger of this getting flabby in this decade-or the next. Medium/medium-heavy body. Personally prefer the rosé effort of this but not too shabby for a vintage BDB. 10.17.25. — 10 days ago
Definitely a wine that needs to be served closer to room temperature than the fridge and let breathe just a bit. Complex bouquet comes alive as it warms with key lime pie, caramel apples, white flowers, and Chantilly cream underlaid by chalky marl aromas. Awesome, but then again, you expect that in this price range from a premier cru. — 9 days ago

Always delivers with its generous red cherry, berry fruit, spice, earth, mineral, fresh floral & violets. Just hitting its prime with many yrs left — 3 days ago
