Close to pop and pour. Not juicy, but lots of red fruit — strawberry, raspberry, cherry (the pits). Also plum. Some leather. Minerals and clay. A little violet. Dried rose petals. Still has some grip — plum-skin-like. Acidity balances it all very nicely. Really good. 92. — 3 months ago

Deep ruby red. Grenache fruitiness. A bit dry, but sweet and spicy. Red flower. Better to decant it for hours or to wait for more years. Chateauneuf-Du-Pape Rouge Domaine De Marcoux 20 @9119, Toscan, 250126-250205 — 6 months ago
Honey rich citrus pear. Ample aroma. High density, volume. Acidic. Slight Oak. Chinese quince. Meursault La Vigne de 1945 21 @19800, Dmar, 250424 — 3 months ago

Very good blend of 40% Trousseau, 15% Poulsard, 45% Pinot Noir. Similar to a full red burg Pinot. A little more funk and acidity. Cherry and dried cranberries, light body. Had it 2 nights in a row, with eggplant parm and salad.
Just had my last bottle of this, and it really is great, especially mid-April as the weather transitions. Held up with pasta, despite the lighter body. — 9 months ago
