Drinking beautifully at 12 years. No chemicals used in the now 70 year old Melon vineyards. Lemon and lime peel, chamomile and a certain unctuousness. Round and very bright palate with a creamy feel from long lees aging with bâtonnage. Nearing its peak. Applaud this Muscadet Sèvre et Maine AOC wine from Edouard Massart. This wine is ridiculous! This has great acidity, notes of white flower and lemon zest. The viscosity is perfect. We paired with fish, would be bonkers with oysters. Will be adding a few more of this to my rack. — 4 years ago

Exactly what I was looking for- delicious, uncomplicated, weeknight sipper. Medium body, cherry from the Pinot and raspberry with icing sugar from the Gamay. Opens super nicely after an hour. Château Thébaud, Nantes, Loire — 2 years ago
Fantastic. Concentrated and seductive for Muscadet, with subtle citrus fruit and a real mineral core. Mouth-watering, juicy acids, and a long savory tang that stretches from the midpalate through the finish. So long and resonant. Good cellar outlook. — 4 years ago
