was obviously fucking delicious—polished and precise—but lacked the character and vibrancy that ought to be guaranteed with the price tag. — a month ago
had to decant for ~45 to let some of that highly sought after jura egg fart blow off—it was gnarly. after some air, this was insane. had a touch of bruised apple/toffee that i expect from southern white burgs. that being said, the acid here was wild. lightning rod energy kept the more decadent notes in perfect balance. salty lemon curd? killer length. will be dreaming about this one. if more jura drank like this i wouldn't talk so much shit about jura. — 2 months ago
have been gobsmacked by just about every '22 from théo and this is no exception. would certainly benefit from a few years in the cellar but still—drinks like top dollar morgon and the nose could pass for pommard in a blind. outstanding. — a month ago
ahhh, what a fucking joy!!! vibrant, fresh, fun and just enough complexity to keep you engaged. very lovely stemmy herbal things happening but the main focus here is just ripe crunchy red fruit. mark my words—this will be a cerasuolo summer. — a month ago
drinks like an aged chenin! vibrant and zippy but lots of decadent bruised fruit, ripe as fuck but balanced with pronounced acidity. tremendous finish. so balanced. nothing too profound but tons of fun. — 2 months ago
sub $50 white burg that absoluuuutely drinks like white burg. oak is a little clunky here but this was a joy. mineral, lemon curd, some vanilla bean, the gang is all here. — a month ago
stylistically not for me but glad it was poured. lots of christmas spices, black fruit and prickly tannins. big, boisterous bastard but still, wore the 15% quite elegantly if i do say so myself. — a month ago
so lovely. profound freshness. dark red fruit. black tea and damp earth on the finish. oak is perfectly integrated, 60% of which is new which i was informed is quite out of the ordinary for this producer—but you'd never guess from tasting. have always loved sonoma pinots and this is certainly no exception. — 2 months ago

nose like an orchid growing out of a filthy ashtray. palette was waxy and energetic. nice one. — a month ago
