Gentle and feminine. Light and balanced. Nice wine that reflects the vintage without overextracting strange flavors. — 3 months ago

From magnum. Medium deep ruby , thin ruby rim . Deep and perfumed , floral with violets , iris , summer fruits , spicy notes and warm embers . Quite rich and ripely fruited , cassis , blackberry , sweet cherry . Good freshness and ripe , very fine tannins . Long and detailed , so elegant on the palate . Balanced Red currant , cassis tinged finish , mineral and saline hints . Come back in 5-10 years will show well over the next 10-15 years . This shows pretty similar to last year , a really elegant and refined edition of this wine. — 2 months ago

Zeer lekkere wijn, mooie afdronk, niet bombastisch of explosief.

Dark cherries and cloves prevail on the nose, then you start to dig in into a very layered nose. Complex and broad spectrum.
On the mouth it is supple and creamy, mid palate is beautiful and rich. The closing is somewhat lifting and refreshing with rose and strawberry flavors overcoming the pleasant bitterness.
An excellent wine for the vintage.
It won’t be immediate. Bit it’ll be a nice surprise in the years to come.

Opened prior to dinner and enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2005 Blanc pours a deep straw color with medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of ripe and tart orchard fruit: grapefruit, Meyer lemon, verbena, crème brûlée, honeysuckle, some pyrazines, a touch grassy, and warm wet rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose where the fruit comes across a touch more round (vintage playing role) but the acid is definitely giving more than adequate lift. The finish is long. The texture is viscous. Drink now through 2035. — 2 months ago
