Looked a little oxi when first opened, but it seemed to pull back in the glass. Some honey still, but the core of lemon fruit was so intense - lemon curd and peel all the way. The nose is typical with cherry, Raspberry, hay, Cola, even... This is quite welcoming. The palate shows some matter and a great acid drive. There are cherry notes dancing all along the acid drive, some width and some nice, a tiny bit thicker than usual mouthfeel. Some lively tannins kick in in the rear before a fruity finish with some salty, meaty touches in the end. This is a beautiful Julienas and I'm glad I have another bottle to leave on the side for a while. — 3 years ago
