A few years of aging has mellowed the tannins but the red fruit flavors are still there. At its peak. — 6 years ago
Smooth, full bodied wine. — 7 years ago
Deliciously sharp, if a bit tart. — 7 years ago
Great balance . 10 years out seems to be the perfect time to drink it. Wonderful pepper, still good fruit , excellent balance. Still some fruit in the nose. I expect this is peak - drinking June 2016 for 2006 vintage — 8 years ago

Petroleum, honeysuckle, yellow cake, and lavender nose. On the palate more petrol, peach nectar, honey, ruby red grapefruit, gunpowder, white pepper, with a powerful petrol after nose. I might have called this a quality german trocken Riesling in a blind test. This is a fabulous Viognier in the french style. — 4 years ago
Great food and wine paired beautifully — 5 years ago
Earthy, mineral and burnt peanuts nose. Hint of green herbal notes on the nose as well. Definitely a lot of peach on the front palate. Burnt, smoky flavours throughout, but the wine is unoaked. — 6 years ago
Incredible stand alone wine for a refreshing summer break. — 7 years ago
At The Green Table, Chelsea NYC ... Almost everything I ever want in a Cab. High fruit notes, tame but bold finish, must have again... 2 wk later review | Allison, Erin, Evelyn, Kreg, Heather — 7 years ago
Black cherry nose followed by blackberry, leather and tobacco. Long medium tannin finish. A big cab blend that would hold its own against most meat pairings. — 9 years ago
Lots of stone fruit characteristics, should've been colder so I didn't get to taste it at it's true potential but it was good. — 10 years ago
It's wonderful, buy a bottle or 3. — 10 years ago
Namesake. Really loved this blend and I'm not just biased ;) literally like chocolate velvet. And a great price point for what it is! — 10 years ago
My first wine from Israel. The low ratings on delectable surprised me. Maybe people are too used to big bold Napa fruit bombs. This cab is constrained, almost medium bodied, austere, but delicious. This wine screams for food, sort of like a Nebbiolo. — 4 years ago
Just opened a 2004 and it was exactly the way that Walter Georis would have expected for 15 year old bottle of his wine. Amazing. — 5 years ago
A beautiful red blend! Juicy. Bold. Silky smooth finish! — 5 years ago
Yummy.. not a punch you in the mouth fruit forward but has the quality build of a higher end cab .
This 2005 held up very nicely .
Decanter a must to pour with out setiment. BUTTERY BlackBerry jam like , some vanilla and Caramel chocolate linger around smooth tannins and leathers. — 6 years ago
Very nice "anytime" wine. Notes of cherry and spice. — 8 years ago
Dark and rich with berries. Long balanced finish. Not a chewy zin. More modern. — 9 years ago

Starts sweet but finishes well. Not oakey... — 10 years ago

Medium bodied, fruit forward, smooth bottle. Nice cheese accompaniment. The winery of the film composer! — 3 years ago
