Needs _a lot_ of time to open up.
Shy, dark fruit on the nose, with tomato leaf, some leather/roast notes, a hint of balsmaico and undergrowth. Plus a flower, uplifting high note above it all. Savoury, mineral, quite fresh.
So juicy on the palate, with spicy, firm yet juicy tannins and zippy acidity. Neither heavy nor jammy - so fresh, juicy, savoury. Such depth & purity.
Absolutely lovely and so young. Don’t open for the next few years. — 12 days ago
Absolutely a beautiful expression of Brunello! — 18 days ago
Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of cherry, sage, tar, vanilla, and violet. Medium-plus body, with medium-plus tannins and high acidity. Lengthy finish. Meaty bouquet surprisingly similar to Northern Rhone Syrah. Rounded and plush. — 5 days ago
2018: starting to drink well despite youth. Good measure of earthy edge keeps the fruit and tannins in balance. $40 sale at VR — 4 days ago
A nice Brunello. lots of Berry fruit, earthy tones and dry long finish. Air improved this to top shelf after 30 minutes. Very good 2015 Vintage. — 18 days ago

2019 vintage. Tight but youthful and full of promise. Could use a 2hr decant or a 10-spot in a dark corner. 3.20.24. — 8 days ago
