Fruity well-balanced Italian with strawberry and raspberry flavors and a smoky finish. — 2 years ago
A blend of mostly Nero d'Avola adding some Petit Verdot, Syrah and a few other grapes. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, sweet notes and spicy scents. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry, currant like, with notes of cacao, licorice and sweet spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins, long finish, ending with fruit, tobacco and sweet earthy character. Very nice! — 2 years ago
Schioppettino. Rustic, earthy funkiness. Blackberries, citrus pith, white pepper, brambles. Apparently rare in the US, from Fermented Grapes. — 4 years ago

Low alcohol content and decent tannins make this wine easy drinking. And not bad for a prelude to something more serious down the road. — 7 years ago
Full body with just a hint of a sweet undertone. Rich and delicious for day drinking — 7 years ago

Actually 100% Nero in this vintage, only 11% ABV. Amphora aged, actually prefer this bottling to the non-Amphora Nero. Mainly black fruited, a little chalky. Very smooth and easy drinking. Great with pizza. — 2 years ago
Full-bodied and rich, very very slightly sweet. Reminds me of Zinfandel. Awesome. — 6 years ago
Tasty and fruity and cheap. Good enough that I had to re-download this app so I could remember it. — 6 years ago

Good balanced, good aftertaste of this wine blow you away. Purple color reminds young Saperavi or liquid consistency in the glass, or gouache concentrate.
Small tannins, low acidic, becoming elder would be jam.

Broc has been doing Nero D’Avola since 2013, releasing in the Fall. Another great delivery. Black cherry, pepper, a little licorice and herbs. Love it! With leftover ropa vieja and orzo. — 8 months ago
