One of the most memorable wines ever. First thing I noticed was the color, very pale garnet. Spice and wet dirt on the nose, very little fruit. The palate was amazing: rusted iron and sandalwood. Each sip was more and more compelling. A wine that you want to drink slowly and to savor. Only 1 bottle, unfortunately. — 5 years ago
Far better than the 2014. Solid fruitiness to it, slight hints of leather, Oak and tobacco. Very enjoyable. — 7 years ago

A blend of Grenache from the right side of the Rhone river and Syrah from the left side cooler adds some freshness — 12 years ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of kirsch, flowers, mint and tangerine notes. Fine tannins, good acidity and balance, dense, garrigue and other spices notes. Its delicious now but should be much better in 5 years. This is great stuff for the price. — 9 months ago

Cote du Rhône blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%). Deep garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black berry fruit, garrigue and baking spices. Same fruit flavors (very ripe) with notes of black licorice, black pepper and vanilla. Medium-plus finish and well balanced acidity. Smooth texture and tannins. This wine expresses the two varietals in the blend beautifully. Exceptional quality for the price. Revisited in February 2025. Solid. — a year ago

Medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of violets, cherries, and cloves; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of cherry, blackberry, baking spices , and hibiscus with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 9 months ago
