Showed well. White and yellow fruits. Lemon, hint of oak char, but not too much. Tasty. — a month ago

Clos Prieur Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 2018

Apparently a new winemaker.

Nose. Ephemeral flowers.

Palate is a bit thin maybe. But elegant.

Needs 45 minutes Then so silky. Great.

Lovely finish.

Pitures Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2002

Wow what a pretty wine! As per of GL posts, this is pure elegance, lightness of being, and ethereal dancing with silk on palate. Pretty is the watchword from nose to finish. Nose has hints of earth, mushroom funk and perhaps it was weightier when young? Just delicious on its own regardless of food pairing. Yum yum. — 4 months ago

2018 vintage. Rustic as all get out so a nice change from all the spit and polish of much of Burgundy. — 6 hours ago
