A full-bodied red. It paired well with a sausage meal, but would go well with pasta too. — 5 days ago

La Monella Frizzante Barbera del Monferrato 2020

Great in its category! Slight fizz, brambly sour cherry, lots of florals, bright acidity, just a touch of tannins, lots minerality. Needs to be cold. — 3 days ago

Northridge Vineyard Barbera 2020

Cherry red, very good clarity. Cherry, red currant aromas, light cherry flavor. Slight seed bitterness in aftertaste. After an hour, wintergreen and a mild skin astringency emerge in the aftertaste. Just enough acidity. Those who dislike tannins should decant a couple of hours before serving — 18 hours ago
