Consistently excellent; my first of the 2023; typical bramble fruits, black pepper on the nose, palate intense blackberry and blueberry, a little bacon fat on the back end , good intensity and ripe tannins; I think this will improve in 3 years or so but really enjoyable right now; consumed over 3 days; held up and softened on day 3. — 24 days ago

Lovely nose of ripe pear, honey, cake frosting. Pretty easy to sip - round, toasty, decent acidity, slight pleasant bitterness, fresh enough but age showing nicely. — 2 years ago
