“Wine is the most healthful and most hygienic of beverages.”

I'm not sure the world of fine beverages is ready for this but this is one of the most interesting culinary creations I have come across this year. This is absolutely a 'have this with food' drink. So refreshing. Such good value and culinary creativity on display. — 9 years ago

An amazing dry Chardonnay!! Scored a 93 on Wine Spectator. Amazing but for $40. Purchased from Smyrna World of Beverages. — 11 years ago
This guy needs some age for epic (for Beaujolais) tannins. It is aggressive which makes sense for windmill wine. And yet there is an elegance. I'm so glad I got two bottles so I can try it again in a year or so and see what happens. Oh the fun of having living breathing beverages in your wine fridge! — 8 years ago
Even packed in a box, this fruity wine is one of my favourite light beverages. — 8 years ago

Pizza and wine night with the Wheat's. a combination of kid madness and adult sophistication. Of course, the adult beverages are always therapeutic! This Syrah started the evening. Beautiful aroma and forward fruit. Slight tannin finish, but overall a strong California red. Don't know the $, but worth it under $40. Cheers! — 12 years ago
One of the great beverages that @Gary Westby put in our Christmas Box! Thank you!
This is always a consistent Champagne. This could go with several different foods, seafood to pork and by itself. — 8 years ago
One of the most fun beverages I've come across in a while. The Moscato d'Asti of Japan. — 8 years ago

One of my absolute favorite new beverages this year - a Brut, from Normandy, made from apples. The nose comes across like the inner peel of a Honey Crisp but goes brilliantly and seductively dry on first kiss, then wet on your lips going deep and French as it lingers and meanders around your mouth with its electric effervescence bringing you to a more attentive state, while romancing you into its full embrace, as you beg it not to stop, and, at only 5% alcohol, you will break a slightly sideways smile, lick your lips, lay back and go all the f.....g way... "Roll another one, just like the other one..." 😎 It's cool, it's Christmas🎄 Check it out! — 9 years ago

Really unfortunate to get a barrage of ads for unrelated products (video games) while trying to input this, @Delectablewine Delectablewine. I understand the need to monetize, but seriously, optimize your targeting a bit better than that. We expect a bit more intelligence from an app devoted to sharing and appreciating fine beverages. Overstuffing the free version--that many of us have been using for years--with unrelated ads to prod us towards paid premium only builds ill-will. I'm considering going back to handwritten wine journals à la Michael Broadbent, or even Instagram.
This baby Brunello is well-integrated, full of luscious dark cherry and leather notes. Medium finish. Should develop well over ten years. — 8 years ago
