Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose of black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee and chocolates.

Medium plus in body and elegant, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cooked plums, light cedar, earth, herbs, chocolates and black pepper.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This 5 year old, second wine from this Fifth Growth Bordeaux winery is drinking very nicely now.

Well balanced with nice complexity. Spicy, rich and fruit forward.

Will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

Good by itself or with food.

A blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (50% new) French oak barrels for 15 months.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2002

Fragrant and elegant. Smooth mouthfeel- and an intriguingly long finish. Last drops - a few hours later tasting better more nuanced than the first. Lots of life left - really nice. — 2 months ago

Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay 2007

Decant your white burgs! This improved so much with air. There’s such power and verve with incredible depth and seamlessness of its layered Chablisen minerality, with buttercream, roasted hazelnuts and an ocean spray-like salinity. It’s texturally captivating, wrapping around the palate with killer density without weight. Racy acids balance its richness and secondary nuttiness and it finishes forever. Excellent. — 16 days ago

Saint Guirons Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1985

Gorgeous! Incredibly fresh with youthful vigor and classic Paulliac aromatic layers and a rich and concentrated palate with grippy tannins still! This one calls for a nice juicy steak! — 2 days ago

Chablis Chardonnay 2023

Crisp and full bodied for a Chablis - rich pear, apple and citrus fruit wrapped in a round overall mouthfeel. Lovely wine to have as a starter. — 13 days ago
