Dauvissat perfection. 2012 Preuses is in an amazing spot, riveting, chiseled, textural and pure with classic Chablisen oyster shell minerality in a tidal wave of spiced orchard fruit, lilies and the slightest nutty edge. It’s incredibly silky on the palate showing killer density without weight. Lasers of racy citrusy acids and a long saline finish round it out. Fabulous showing. — 2 months ago
Expensive but worth it. This Bordeaux is just right now. Paradigmatic Pauillac with deep brooding flavor and bitter finish. Tannins are perfectly smooth. Perfect with steak or on its own while listening to music while contemplating the meaning of life. All of the leather, earth, and tar one can expect from a fine Pauillac and under $100. — a month ago
Strong tropical fruit, with lovely acidity. Inexpensive blind purchase that was fun to taste. — 2 months ago
Nice for a pop n’ pour. Decent QPR. Blackberry, tobacco, picked up some mint. Tannins that made me want to aerate this more but they were not overpowering. — 8 days ago
Strangely oxed day one, glorious day two. Maybe it’s me? — a month ago

Fully mature. Some light notes of sherry, limpid lime, oyster shells, lemon oil, slate. Complex, long and delicious. Very good. — 20 hours ago
