Surprisingly sturdy & closed. Needs at least 6h to open.
Bright cherry, some leather, a bit of dried tomato.
On the palate this is savoury, dry, a touch rustic with pronounced tannins and bright, juicy acidity. A hint of tobacco leaf & roast on the finish.
Needs a lot of time to open but paired with beef this just sings. A delight worth aging. — 2 months ago
Nice everyday Sangio based super Tuscan. Dark, plummy and slightly modern style. — 6 months ago
So smooth & with good company 👌 — 7 months ago
Distinct nose - not like Bordeaux or Napa - explodes in the glass with dark fruit and nicely integrated tannic structure. Still quite young albeit a pleasurable wine in 2023. A definite buy for ones cellar — 10 months ago
2022 still solid sipper! 12.5% — 19 days ago
It’s alright, a little bland. Dark cherries, oak or cedar, maybe some herbs 🤔 — 9 months ago
