Perfect with steak. — 8 years ago
Delicious cab! Lots of black berry and dark bramble fruit up front with herb notes mid palate and firm well integrated tannins on a medium length finish. Great with steak, or even on it's own! — 9 years ago
One of my all time favorites, cannot go wrong with this Cab, love it with a nice steak — 9 years ago

Very nice wine. No rush to drink Great with a steak but no rush. Give it another 2 to 3 years. — 10 years ago
2012 - Great young Cab. Couldn't wait to open this one and was not disappointed. Smooth, light, little vanilla aftertaste, and great with a nice Flank Steak Dinner. — 10 years ago
Great blend! Tried it a few times - pairs well w/ steak & also went well with Italian dishes (pizza, veal or meat based pasta dishes w/ red sauce). Tried 2011 and 12: I prefer the 11 but both are great! — 11 years ago
Past its prime ? Could be. Otherwise a smooth and well rounded blend, a bit on the dry side, notes of earth and dark ripe berries. Was paired very well with a prime aged steak and truffles. — 12 years ago
Can't believe I've held on to this treasure for so long! Cedar and sandalwood on the nose. Silky with a bright and savory--almost vegetal--finish. Perfect with filet and steak-house style garlicky creamed spinach. These grapes were picked when I was still in high school! — 8 years ago
Steak & claret Friday is back. This bottle was more evidence for my theory that wine always shows best once it sells out. Dark fruit, savory tertiary character and plenty of sweet life in this "for steak only" northern Medoc. Hats off to the butchers at Draeger's... I don't know what that "cowboy" steak was, but it sure was good! — 9 years ago
Love it when my tables visiting from South Africa offer me the rest of their Reserve wine! Holy Moley so delicious! So silky and hot with so many smoke and tar notes. An elegant jammy-ness and perfect with a charcuterie board and Hanger steak! — 9 years ago
Full of body and flavor for the price. Great Friday night steak wine! — 10 years ago
Nice Napa valley cab. Cherry bouquet. nice and reserved. Went well with barbecued flat iron steak and lamb sausage. — 10 years ago
Interesting nose when first opened, but we let it breathe for a bit and it came alive. I'm a huge Shafer fan and will often order this at a restaurant if I'm getting a steak...and I'll drink most any vintage they have. But if this were in my cellar, it would be on the shelf for a few more years. — 10 years ago
Jordan is always good... Thinking it would have been better with a steak than the Chicken Parm at Runway 84... Thank you Ralph and the crew from Las Olas... What is better than Thursday night at this place... The chick from Mob wives by the bar taking pics... Chicken Parm and a good Cab... Ahh.... Youth is waisted on the young!!! — 11 years ago
Deep earthy flavors that become more vibrant as the wine has a chance to breath. Pairs wonderfully w/ a good cut of steak. — 13 years ago
Drinking nicely. Lots of dark fruit. Blackberry and black cherry. Perfect with the steak. — 7 years ago
Strong and fruity. good for TBorn steak. — 8 years ago
So nice. Very jammy and full bodied. Plum, blackberry, herb flavors. I'm having it with herb roasted crispy potatoes; real tasty together. — 9 years ago
Went great with an awesome steak. — 9 years ago
Decent, a bit bitter. Paired with steak and lobster. — 10 years ago

Opened this and it filled the whole pool deck with aroma, vanilla, earth, grapes. Very smooth taste and not too grapey. A nice drink to savor or pair with steak or pasta. — 6 years ago
