A few days late in posting the Wednesday Wine Committee wines. Standard format with 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. All served blind.

Similar experience to when I had this a few months ago. More dusty than the Gruard and Cos. Also more underripe fruits. Still showing strong tannins. Crunchy cranberry and sage notes. I guessed mid-‘90s left bank Bordeaux.

Monthly WTF guys blind tasting group. This month was our annual, and famed, Left Bank vs Right Bank theme. All wines served blind as usual. Started off with a Rosé and a champagne. Great night.

The first of two GPLs from the evening. Lots of saddle leather mixed with ripe fruit on the nose. Underripe black-cherry on the palate with an herbal dominants finish. Drink now. Thanks
@Will Adams .

This is in a perfect place. Floral nose with red fruits. Smooth and beautiful with a great finish.

Showing quite well. Lots of red currant holding up the darker fruits, minerality, but oxidized quickly. Drink now IMHO

From magnum. Brilliant, dusty, tobacco notes. Emile the proprietor preferred this to the 2000. 5 to 10 years more?
