Baking spices, slight hint of menthol, sweet but with a funkier creamy finish, cinnamon — 7 years ago
1965. Birth year wine on birthday. Pronounced nose, weak in the middle, tired at the finish. But enough about me, the wine was great. Interesting at first with ripe strawberry, cherry, forest floor, cedar notes, long finish. After opening up bell pepper flavors emerged, which was fine but others may not like. I enjoy these old bottles made by the Mondavi family, this one signed by Cesare. Enriches the experience to know you are drinking an historic, old wine made by an iconic family. — 8 years ago
The nose of apples and peaches continues to the palette. This Chardonnay is clean, crisp and balance and paired great with our meal. — 10 years ago

Oh yum. Trust me, everything you want in a good quality wine is here. — 11 years ago
Very good little wine from the Cesare. Nose is clean with good fruit. The palate is juicy and approachable mild tannins, good acidity, the finish will develop in the right direction. Very happy — 11 years ago

2019 vintage. Albarino from 35 years old vines close to the Umia river on predominantly sandy soils. Fermented in stainless steel and 6 months of ageing on the lees. Bright very pale yellow. Lovely perfume of lemon confit, fresh yellow prunes, with hints of quince and a distinctive minerality. Fresh taste with ripe stone fruit (prunes, peaches), very present but not aggressive acidity and some mineral salinity in the finish. Very dry with less than 1 g/l of residual sugar. Abv. 12,5%. Very good value at less than 15 euros. — 6 years ago
Very interesting nebbiolo. Garnet color, started with low aroma but opened to a complex nose. Black fruit, floral notes, licorice, plums in liquor and the tipical rustic tone that most Italian wines have. Good tannin on the mouth, very nice acidity. Good permanence in mouth. Drank it for more than 2 hours to enjoy it at its fullest. — 7 years ago
Very fine silky mild tannins, nice deep fruit. Black cherries and a hint of tar. — 8 years ago

Black fruit, velvety on nose, stewed blackberry, nice smooth oak. Mouth: very jammy, heavy body, well balanced acidity and tannins, very straight forward not much complexity, round, easy drink. Cost 2 euro 70. 2 o 3 meses en barrica. 8/10 for me Victor not too excited — 13 years ago

2011, MastroJanni, Rosso Di Montalcino, Montalcino, Sangiovese. Ruby with a wide garnet rim. Black fruit and red fruit, with violets, pepper, anise and wet leather. Finishes with mushroom and wet clay. Med plus acid and tannins; medium alcohol. Really well balanced with layers of fruit and savory flavors. Good pair with Korean short ribs. — 12 years ago
