One of my favorite German producers of Riesling. They pretty much nail it yr in yr out.
Rieslings are a Somm darling. But, I find it hard to drink a whole bottle w/o the right food. Mostly due to their sweetness. Prefer Kabinett.
The mouthfeel is nice, round and creamy. Bright lemon, lime, grapefruit, tropicals, pineapple, kiwi, passion fruit, lychees, cream hovers on the mouth roof, limestone, chalky powder, white and yellow flowers, excellent round acidity and a well structured, balance and beautifully polished finish that last a full minute. — 2 months ago

I hate it when storage and transports robs the potential of a wine away, but I hate it even more when it happens to a wine I usually adore. Such was the case here. There was just too much distracting petrol notes on the nose for a Riesling this young. Having said that, there was still lots packed into this wine, especially on the palate. Seriously structured with laser acidity, and very generous on the fruit end (as expected of Hubacker). Finish was quite long, almost exotic, with some minerality although it pales in comparison to the Mosel GG we drank this with. The others on the table certainly enjoyed the wine, though I can’t say the label didn’t help. — 4 months ago
Pale straw color. Smells sweet tastes like tangy white grape juice, with a touch of lemon chiffon pie. Smooth. — 2 months ago
Moderately sweet, fantastic acid, super youthful, this will easily last another 25+ years, long finish, great Spatlese!! — 4 months ago
