Gorgeous. Nose is crystalline. Sweet cantaloupe, gorgeous minerality and its all presented in a narrow tunnel that is so focused. Some herbs as well. So clear and clean. Palate is equally as crystalline with stunning focus, precision and minerality. Just so taut and luscious with unreal juiciness. This is young and will continue to unwind. 9.4 for now but I will be back. — 8 months ago

Gorgeous and best JJ ever. Nose is full of mid season cherries, spice, gentle wood shavings from woodshop when one was a kid. Really aromatic and alluring. Really huge spice. So so aromatic and casts a spell on you. Palate is so juicy and full of life. Sweet and sour cherry fruit and big time acids and wonderful structure and purity. This needs mega mega air. The sweetness on the finish and mid is to just die for and then gets tamed by the incredible acidity and mineral spine. — 7 days ago

Riserva Cannonau di Sardegna 2020

On the nose, there is sweet cherry to be sure... Cherry brandy... A mossy, earthy note... Savory mushroom... Yup, we're in the woods... But warm... On the palate, some more green emerges perhaps... Still extremely savory though... Buttery pastry... Cherry is incredibly concentrated... Tannin is fluffy... Medium-short finish... Reading the label, I thought this would pair well with our strong-flavored barbeque, but it paired best with our beef and barley soup appetizer... I think if you could pair with something that includes filo pastry, it would do even better... — 2 days ago

Fruit and spice on the nose. Very approachable on opening and remained consistently good two days later. Raspberries spice (cinnamon) and slight plum on the palate. Medium density. Moderate length finish. — 8 months ago

Hyland Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

Very elegant. 13.4%. Made with care. Definitely a lot of ambition there. This is a little bit too fruit driven for me. More Oregon than Burgh. Might be the vintage. Perhaps this needs more age. Subdued cherry, hint strawberry, …touch muscat. — 3 days ago

Koosah Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

Light ruby in color with light intensity, and a great nose.

Showing red fruits with earth, wood, spices and dark chocolates.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Single Vineyard Oregon Pinot Noir is young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself as a sipping wine.

Aged for 14 months on its lees. Unfined.

13.7% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$50.
