2005. Perhaps a bit past its prime. But still excellent. Morphed to a chalky sense on the palate. Still loved it. — 10 months ago
Tannic initially, but better after some time in a decanter. Dark inky blackberry flavor and wonderful structure and body. — 4 years ago
Picked this up a few months ago from the state store when I saw Louis Dressner. Seems different from the only other fleurie I’ve had. Lots of earth juice with raspberry. — 6 years ago
Delish as usual — 7 years ago

Pale straw yellow. Clear. Smal nice bubbles. Dry, crisp and elegant. Apples, citrus and brioche on the nose. Lemon, grapefruit and toasted bread on the palate. Yeasty and buttery. Long finish. Wonderfully paired with sushi. — 10 years ago
Complex nose, full mid-palate, med-long finish, balanced. Delish! — 11 years ago
Really incredible and dense. Thought it was excellent and took about 2 hrs to open. So much excellent dirt. — 9 months ago

2013 vintage. The second wine of La Chapelle, that is now named " Maison Bleue", but an excellent wine in its own right. At 9 years old this is absolutely gorgeous with an expressive nose of blackberries, wild flowers, pepper and leather, enhanced by a subtle smokiness. In the mouth it combines power with elegance, with pure fruit, subtle spices, silky tannins and great length. Terrific value if the mythical La Chappelle doesn't fit your budget. Abv. 13,5% — 4 years ago
Nice melon and nutty character — 6 years ago
Perhaps a bit too old for its weight. — 9 years ago
Millésime 2015!! Magnifique! Matière mur, corps gourmand et élancé. Éclat aromatique passant par les fruits noirs, les épices douces, la liqueur de fruit. J'ai adoré. — 10 years ago
This is a very good & fun Cremant. Perfect for summer and only around 8 degrees alcohol. — 11 years ago
Elegant. Rich, citrus, tropics, a touch of oak. Good acid, well balanced. Begs for a crab cake. Delicious. — 11 years ago
