Super earthy & chewy Mondeuse from Savoie. Drinks more like a very good Moulin A Vent. Throws some sediment so watch out. — 7 months ago

Bright yellow gold. Inviting nose of yellow apple and balsa wood. Medium full palate confirms the nose with the apple taking on a quince-y tone and with a rough mineral note mid palate. Firm, southwest acidity. Moderately long finish. A white for red drinkers, with structure and complexity to match a broad range of hearty cuisines. Want white with your steak? Try this. Drink now through 2031. — a year ago

Lots of dark fruit—dark cherry, blackberry, plum. Dense. Slightly perfumed. Tannic. Easy to enjoy. — 9 months ago

Purchased at the winery on my single visit there, had gone to pick up the Syrah, and was very taken with this tiny production Mondeuse. Rich, but not heavy, rustic in some ways, but amazing “mountain fruit” depth and great acidity which largely hides the structure and tannins, long, lingering finish, needs a fair amount of cellaring, though beautiful tonight!! — 3 days ago
