Wow. A richer, darker, and more concentrated Picasses than I’ve had in some time. Oak is also a bit more gratuitous than I’m used to for this wine. Blackberries, currant, moss, anise. This can go the distance, but definitely a bit hot. Still one of my favorite wines in the world for consistent quality to price ratio and age-ability. — a month ago
Fruity and mineraly with some light sour notes. Great, mineraly after taste which develops. — a month ago
Vintage age 2018 | yesterday tasted with Coravin, today with more air. That gives the wine an extra dimension - so eventually decant it. Smell: Turkish Fruit, hay, impression of honey and melon. Well balanced taste, well rounded taste ( in Dutch: mollig) high in bitters. Became a real treat with a sushibol as first course and Cantonese cabbage with shrimps afterwards. — 23 days ago
Crimson with a cherry red tinge. A certain pong on the nose - a cowyard note but not off putting - I like it. On the medium bodied palate black fruits and sour cherry. Highly savoury on the palate. The cowyard notes remained throughout the 3 to 4 hour time frame to consume the bottle. I drink very few Loire Valley reds but on the basis of this wine I should drink more. — a month ago
Well balanced flowery and citrusy. The after taste is minerally and caramaly and develops for a while. — 20 days ago
Excellent mature balanced Cab Franc without that peppery greenness coming on. Long finish. — 2 months ago

I tasted this same 2010 about a year ago and wondered it would improve with further aging. I think the answer is yes.
This time around it shows more layered profile, with bruised apple, honeysuckle, beeswax, citrus peel, and wet stone leading the nose. The palate is broad and textured. Acidity has shaved off some hard edges, yet remains focus and intense. Engaging long finish. — 9 days ago
