Easy drinking yet quite elegant for an entry level bottle. Tart cherry and wild raspberry, mint, pyrazine, pencil shavings. Palate is fruit driven, a touch green and stemmy. Juicy acid and soft restrained tannin. Balanced, quaffable, and with some interest - a perfect weeknight bottle.

For the price, this overdelivers. Was my favorite cab franc from a flight of three. Full aromatics of strawberry, cherry, minerals, pencil shavings, earth, herbal notes and backed up with great acid. I’ll be getting some of this!

Fresh, red, green peppercorn, sage. Enjoyable and firm. Maybe forgettable, but very good.

Black olive and a bit of greenpepper, with the classic pencil lead quality. Nice lean, high acid wine. Needs some food, or maybe some age in the bottle.

Killer Chinon. Smells like caponata; rotten eggplant and olives so very stinky, but a good thing! Sour cherry with earthy flavors. It smells, it's sour, it's good.

Briskly acidic. Went well with duck.

Nice “entry level” Cab Franc from a great producer. Floral, pepper, red fruit, and a pleasant hint of brett adds a nice funk.
