Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart orchards and citrus fruits: green apple, lemon curd, minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Drink now through 2032. — 5 months ago

Note, in 2019 hail cut yields by 40%, Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruits and spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, licorice and smoky herb notes. Fine tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Nice! — 2 years ago
Well that might the best $24 I spent. Couldn’t pass up a late vintage release. — 4 years ago

Very light red that drank well chilled, with ripe red fruit and a lingering finish. Def would buy again especially for a good glou or paired with salmon. — 5 months ago
Bit too sweet for me, but others may like this style. Like, your in-laws. — 6 months ago
Pinot Munier as the major grape. Smooth, Julie likes — 6 months ago
Terra orca is right! The earth is coming at me and I’m seeing red. But not the red of fury, the red of passion, the red of pleasure, and the red of desire. One sip of this and desire for the pleasure of passion from this wine endures. The palate parties with minerals. — 4 years ago
For the price, this presented strong performance, but lacked depth, complexity and power you experience with the delas les bessards. Cool black fruits and well judged oak create a very classy drinking experience. This was relatively tame and had a powerful yet weightless elegance in the palate. — 4 months ago
@Neal Martin is, as usual, spot on with his note, but I prefer the VV bottling. — 6 months ago

Had this at Carretta on the Gulf with the Huyck’s. — 4 years ago
Dark pungent wine. Taste better than smell. 15%. Sat for over an hour and didn’t open up. Drinkable but not what I expected for a a chateauneuf du pape — 4 years ago

Lovely vibrant aromas of garrigue, violet, black cherry, dried cherry, forest floor, blackberry, leather. At 25 years this is still wonderfully fresh with an exceptional finish. Lovely wine — 4 months ago
