Physically Distanced 🚧 but Socially Close 🤗 2020 Independence Day Party 🇺🇲 🥳 with several members of our Tastevin crew.🍷 Proof that our palates are wider than Burgundy, outside of sanctioned events.🍾
Notes may be light, scores will be honest. 💯🦄

I wanted to like this more, but it didn’t quite hit the right notes for me. There was a pinched acidic note here that was distracting.

Chalk soils. 3-4gr dosage. Delicate and structured. Richer vs blanc de blanc brut nature. Limey.

A young 2014 - Closed with green apples upon opening. Decanted 1 hr: White flowers, honeysuckle, limestone, chalk. Soft attack with a smacking transition to the mid-palette where acidity is moderate. Palette is of key lime pie. Finish is medium in length. I would bottle age this wine to bring out more oxidative notes and openness. Too young to really enjoy now.
