Good memories from Haro! Had this with steak in New York. Color is deep ruby. Nose is red fruit (strawberry) vanilla tobacco leather. Strawberry floral cream. Taste of the same with pepper. Needed some time to open up - but eventually got this beautiful long spicy finish! — 4 days ago
This is a very tasty Spanish red from Rioja.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing blueberries, cherries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee, chocolates and peppercorn.
Needs 3 hours to open up properly, so be patient. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

A good food wine that I paired with light appetizers.
100% Tempranillo grapes were aged in French and American oak barrels for 24 months.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Very Rioja’esque aromas with (over)ripe black cherry, a hint of blueberry, vanilla toast & coconut, a whiff of leather, roast, cocoa powder. Rich but not overwhelmingly so. And retaining some freshness.
On the palate this is surprisingly firm with prominent, though finely polished tannins, and nice density of fruit. Nicely balanced & highly drinkable but I’m sure it would benefit from another few years of aging. — 10 days ago
Primarily Tempranillo with small amounts of Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo blended in. Beautiful deep garnet color. Really complex aromas of bramble berries, dried rose petals, menthol and Forrest Floor. Berry fruit on the pallet with hints of black licorice, leather, tobacco, orange peel and minerals. Touch of burnt brown sugar on the finish. Smooth tannins and a silky/creamy texture. Excellent balance. Muscular yet delicate at the same time. Classic Rioja. — 15 days ago
