Kathryn Hermann Cuvée Chehalem Mountains Chardonnay 2021

Opened way to early obviously but wanted to try a single vineyard from this producer. I will not open the other bottle for a few years. Great acidity and lots of citrus, crushed white rocks and green apples and pears. Some reduction when opened but blew off in 30 minutes. — 3 months ago

Jack's Masterpiece Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Not quite a Kathryn Hall, but my 2nd favorite Hall label. Would only get better with a bit more age, tasted in May 2022. — 2 years ago

Sons of Eden

Kennedy Barossa Valley Grenache Blend 2020

My favourite of the field in a blind tasting - fruitier than you’d think. Smoother than you’d think. But no one else here thought so. I’m broken. — 4 months ago

Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

So vibrant and beautiful, it belies its age. Fresh fruit nuanced with caramel, spice and greens. Love the OG Kathryn Kennedy 🍷 — 7 months ago

Waiheke Island Cabernet Sauvignon 2002

9.1

This is still thriving: elegantly styled Left Bank offering with bright beam of pure cherry & currant, cassis, along w/endearing secondary layers of earth, leather, herbaceousness, hint of pepper, tomato leaf and others... great complexity w/out being all over the place. Mid weight, mild tannins and great freshness. Impressive! — 3 years ago

Kathryn Hall Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Rarely do I go over the top on ratings but this is very deserving. Just extraordinary in its complexity, balance and profile. Dark and inky in the glass, loads of red and black fruits, cedar and a hint of chocolate. The finish just lingers and the tannins have softened. I'd say this was well worth the wait. — 4 months ago

Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine 2005

Deep, dark yellow. Aromas of Meyer lemon, almonds, dough and a fruity hint. Lemon flavors, biscuit with a creamy vanilla finish.

Winemaker will probably stop producing, hard to get the bottles and hand riddled.

Napa Valley Cuveé Red Blend 2017

Very different than the Angwin. Definitely not as integrated and needs more time. Best days ahead. — 3 years ago

@Shay A: I was not either. I would be interested in tasting it with a longer decant or in a few years.
