Not quite a Kathryn Hall, but my 2nd favorite Hall label. Would only get better with a bit more age, tasted in May 2022. — 2 years ago

This is still thriving: elegantly styled Left Bank offering with bright beam of pure cherry & currant, cassis, along w/endearing secondary layers of earth, leather, herbaceousness, hint of pepper, tomato leaf and others... great complexity w/out being all over the place. Mid weight, mild tannins and great freshness. Impressive! — 3 years ago
Rarely do I go over the top on ratings but this is very deserving. Just extraordinary in its complexity, balance and profile. Dark and inky in the glass, loads of red and black fruits, cedar and a hint of chocolate. The finish just lingers and the tannins have softened. I'd say this was well worth the wait. — 4 months ago

Opened way to early obviously but wanted to try a single vineyard from this producer. I will not open the other bottle for a few years. Great acidity and lots of citrus, crushed white rocks and green apples and pears. Some reduction when opened but blew off in 30 minutes. — 3 months ago
