Outstanding still after 13 years. Terrific Rhone profile with complexity and freshness still. — 2 months ago
No real notes, sharing this with my friend who came over from france and who, incidentally, lives in lyon, next-door to beaujolais. Cherry, cherry liqueur, earth, hay, violet, this is pinotesque with some more fruit. The palate shows acid drive, cherry, cherry cola, some width, some matter, some tannins in the rear. The cherry,.cherry liqueur and violet finish lasts for a very long while. This is superb and could probably last for another 10 15 years. — 2 months ago

A wonderful start to dinner. Chalky bright with notes of apricot — 3 months ago
Popped and poured from a half bottle; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The “Oeil de Perdrix” is made in the saignée method and pours a pale copper/pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of strawberry, raspberry, pink pepper, lemon, and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely expression of a Blanc de Noir Rosé from Bouzy. Disgorged April of 2023. — 5 months ago
Deep dark cherry. Orange zest. Earthy and rustic. Classic. But the wine lacks anything special where i would say wow. Wine oxidizes within 2 hours so air does not make a difference. So I will drink these bottles up. Note these wines needed to be aged for 15 years to develop. — a month ago

Reddish in color with medium intensity.
Pretty and complex nose, and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, spices, very light oak, licorice and chocolates.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This is a beautiful red blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Elegant and nicely balanced. Rich and fruit forward. Very fresh tasting, and easy drinking.
Still young, but already complex and interesting. The high alcohol is well integrated already.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
A blend of destemmed grapes from over 100 year old vines. 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvedre. The Grenache is aged in concrete vats, while the Mourvedre is aged in new French oak barrels.
16% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Full-bodied and fully mature. Very good but was expecting magic that did not happen. — 3 months ago
Strong musk and forest on the nose. Bramble, dark fruits, and a hint of red fruits on the forward palate. Forest floor/wet fruit and mild gasoline/rubber on the mid and end palate. Smooth low-med tannins, full-minus body. Bright med+ acidity. Needs to decant and breathe before drinking. — 2 months ago

Strawberry, blueberry with medium acid, beautiful medium ruby color, medium body with dry ending. Great on its own, even better with duck breast. — 3 months ago
