Very old world in style but holding up well , would have pegged it for a well aged Bordeaux

Absolutely gorgeous wine. Ready to drink and at its peak. Very balanced and smooth.

Ranked #2 WOTN for me. Such a surprise. More French than California.

Still sound and pretty good, but drink now. The seams are still intact but for high long?

I might have had this wine last in 1997 ! This ‘97 vintage was awesome. Medium bodied , soft , balanced w a long finish. Dry like I like it . Decanted for 6 hours which seemed to help the wine.
