Honey, apricot, a bit of hay. Paired with apple pie. — 5 years ago
Yellow apple, pear, quince, lychee, mandarin orange marmalade, white flowers, honey suckle, all spice. Very nice acidity, making we want to come back for more. The golden hue, this stuff is outrageous. — 8 years ago
Very sweet but not overtly cloying. Lots of custardy lemon & honey. Effervescent acidity in the end — 8 years ago
Tangy green fruits, orange, hints of almond, marzipan, and honey with a long, dry finish. Somewhat floral on the nose. Lots going on on the nose and on the palate. $15-ish at Costco. — 8 years ago
Honey comb, lilac, and a touch of oxidative nuttiness #vouvray #loire #cheninblanc — 10 years ago
Honey on toast straight off the bat, walnut oil and a very light touch of twiglet makes me think this isn't in the greatest shape but shows some great complexity. In the mouth there is snappy red apple skin from the off though the mouthfeel is rather thin, sleek on the finish with plenty of class. — 10 years ago
Florals, honey, peaches. Mmmmm — 4 years ago
Light gold. Looks young. Took 5 hours to open up and show its stuff. In hour 6 this was cruising. Saline and sea shells, wispy lemon fruit, some honey, some white stone. The guesses from the fellas were 2002 Rav Clos and 1996 Rav Valmur. Shows how these properly stored aged Raveneaus can age effortlessly. — 5 years ago
Peachy honey, and minerality. Integrated acidity and good structured. Paired perfectly with the slightly creamy squid ink fusilli with suckling pig confit and clams. — 7 years ago
One of the reasons we always make a trip out to Klein Constantia is for the Vin de Constance. Deep golden yellow with a fragrant nose of honeysuckle, honeycomb and white flowers. Heavy acidity (7/10) and full bodied. Well balanced and rich on the palate with notes of ginger, honey, orange marmalade. Not overly cloye which is nice. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2037. — 8 years ago
Glows gold with reflections of amber. This has completed the typical Musarian transformation from primary citrus and green apple to tertiary apple-balsamic, toasted scone, dried honey, browned butter, and carrot halwa. Phenomenal length with persistent acidity. Distractingly good! This is still just barely into adulthood and will intensify and become more complex over the next few decades. — 9 years ago

A great wine. Notes of apple and honey. Easy to drink and very refreshing. It leaves you craving more. I wish I had a few extra bottles. — 11 years ago
Great Vouvray ! Citrus, pear and honey. Beautifully crisp ! — 11 years ago
Nutty, spicy, some oak, ripe complexity more associated in my mind with aged white burgundy than champagne, honey, tannic structure, big and flavorful but balanced with lots of acidity. No question it's showy, but it manages to be really drinkable and delicious despite its over-the-top heft. — 12 years ago
Besides having a great, cool label - Herman Story wines are so spectacular. This is not your standard “red blend” & the Tempranillo/Petit Verdot give a great complexity. Easily paired w/ a huge range of food. — 4 years ago
Medium gold, heavy in the glass. Awesome aged Raveneau nose. Notes of citrus, kimmeridgian white stone and light colored dirt, some honey, some spice. Great mouth feel, with acidity that powered up over 4-5 hours. Awesome with some angel hair pasta and shrimp, looking out over the Kohala Coast. — 5 years ago
Very good, pronounced sweet wine with notes of honey, yellow apple, mango, golden raisins and juicy, dripping peach. High acidity, low alc, full body. — 5 years ago
Jack & Arden put together a wonderful evening of delicious food and great wines, and a few of us attendees contributed some bottles to enjoy as well. Great night!
My contribution. Wow! The aromatics here are some of the most intoxicating I’ve come across. Ripe pineapple bathed in honey butter, apricot preserves, orange marmalade and honeycomb. Light on the palate with zippy acidity. Fantastic! — 7 years ago

My first time drinking a white wine from Lopez De Heredia and it’s unlike any wine I’ve ever had before. Very fragrant and a lot of different tastes coming to the forefront. Bruised apple, quince, beeswax and honey. Some almond, slight oxidation and salinity like a fino sherry. This is a big and unusual wine. Not something I would drink daily, but enjoyed it as much on a taste as on an intellectual level. — 4 years ago
