Delicate nose of lemons and limes. Nice balanced mouthfeel with Granny Smiths and pears. Moderate weight and finish, with moderate acidity make this a great value buy.

Less than $30 in my store, and with Wine Spectator lavishing 94 pts on this example, I had to dip my toe in. WS is the only wine critic I follow, and they are mostly en pointe in my book.
This example is tightly wound and tannic, but the elements of an outstanding wine are all there. Maybe needs to relax a little more in the bottle, but it explodes from the glass right now. Acidity and weight are outstanding for a case production in the thousands. When in a restaurant and you see these wines on the menu, go here to have a great tasting experience, while avoiding a financial nosebleed. — a month ago
Wine Spectator peaked my interest with a whopping 94 pt rating for this example.
It doesn’t fall short, either.
Brioche and roasted almonds on the nose are chased by a honied, almost decadent mid palate. It’s exotic and dense. Loved it so much we procured a case 👊🏾 — 5 days ago
With wifey and family in QC.
Very rare occasion we purchased a bottle. Never had this before, but was pleasantly surprised. From memory, I recall nice RRV profile of citrus fruits, green apples, combined with modest weight on the mid palate. Finished with almonds and a kiss of oak. Worth seeking out at the right price. — 21 days ago
Yeah, from a plastic cup. This is absolutely singing and showing zero signs of aging. Textured, layered and tannic. Nice espresso notes give way to black cherries and pure cassis. From magnum. — a month ago
Close friend gifted us this over 15 years ago. This has stood still and I’m loving it. Typical Bdx profile displaying saddle leather, wood and smoke from the barrel toast. Tannins are moderate and standing tall. Outstanding in my book. — 6 days ago
Sparse notes; very well presented. Young and tannic. Tart cherries transition to barrel toast and prominent tannins. Better in 2-3 years, but quaffable now with air exposure.

This was a crowd-pleaser along with the very low production back-story. The winemaker is self taught and risked everything to produce his own wines. This wine is uncommon in its flavor profile and sheer regal elegance. The last bottle I had frightened me as it displayed signs of decay, but not this. This was powerful and stole the day.
