Pic #3. 2013 Domaine Huet, Le Mont, Vouvray Sec. Golden hue with notes of melon, honeydew, cantaloupe, pear, white flowers, and grapefruit on the palate. Well-balanced and complemented the Lake Superior whitefish served in a mussel jus, with guanciale, and Brussels sprouts. Also in this pic is a tortellini enveloping a bite of good thunder cheese, tossed with zucchini agrodolce, baby corn, Swiss chard, and black trumpet mushrooms (which was paired with the Barbera on next pic, 4) #vouvray #cheninblanc #winesofloire #loirevalley #touraine — 7 years ago

Vintage 2014 - Vivid taste with hay, pear, mineral touch and nice acidity. #vouvray #cheninblanc — 8 years ago
honeysuckle, candied peaches, white flowers, ginger kambucha #vouvray #cheninblanc — 9 years ago
N/V #Vouvray #Brut. Great value over the years.
This #wine has lots of yellow apple core aromas, briny. Moderate bubbles. The flavors continue with yellow apple core, smooth apricot, peach without the fuzz. Dry acid and finishing nice. Color is golden and slightly baked. Opened 2/5/17 — 10 years ago
Unfortunately this has not held up well. A boring wine with harsh acid overwhelming the palate. #vouvray #cheninblanc #francoischidaine #loirevalley #ctbucklinwine — 10 years ago
#Vouvray #CheninBlanc
This wine does not have much of a nose. The palate tastes of ripe orange flesh with a little acidity and orange pith in the finish. It pairs nicely with sriracha roast chicken. — 6 years ago
Textbook Vouvray for everyday drinking. Dryish, with a big acid backbone, yet melony, fruity and slammable. Always a good value. #vouvray #cheninblanc — 8 years ago
Vintage 1990 - yellow golden colour, very vital. Beautiful smell with quince dominant, also impressions of honey, ananas, Turkish Fruit, hay, quite complex. This #cheninblanc is mouthfilling with (now at the age of 28 years) dominant bitters with a toffee-alike aftertaste. #Vouvray that delivers! Actually, I was surprised/shocked to find this bottle in the cellar corner. I do not keep my demi-sec thát long. Beautiful starter of saturdaynight diner with wild boar paté. #loirewine — 8 years ago
late harvest, honey notes, great acidity, some noble rot going on, orange peel, white pepper, candied ginger... soooo good!!!! #lateharvest #chenninblanc #vouvray — 9 years ago
Well first day back and successful launch for a project mean bubbles! #vouvray #drinkingdownthebubbles — 10 years ago

Delicious #vouvray - green apple, touch of wet stone on the nose. Puckering acidity pleasantly balanced by pear and apple orchard fruit. Next time I definitely need to try this with a Chèvre-based appetizer. Terrific QPR for $~12 at a local Mediterranean gourmet shop. — 5 years ago
Sec...and a good one. Ripe melon, wildflowers, pixy stix. Fine structure and length; well-done for such a tough year. #vouvray #cheninblanc — 8 years ago
Fruit-forward but balanced aromatic white that pairs quite well with spicy Indian food. #vouvray is lovely. — 9 years ago
Oh my goodness. I am thrilled that I held onto this incredible #vouvray - if you have this #LoireValley gem, I suggest that you drink it now cause it is drinking beautifully! Sweet ripened pear, orange blossom, apple and lime with hints of smoke and a bit of nuttiness. A lush, silky, smooth mouthfeel bursts mid-palate with vibrant acidity that melds into chalky minerality and a lovely, balanced finish. I'm drinking it with this farm to fork rustic creamy angel hair pasta made with a blended sauce of honey chèvre, olive oil, pepper, toasted walnuts, loads of arugula and chives. The rustic-ness of the pasta with the nutty, chalky minerality of the wine is heavenly. — 9 years ago
Vintage 1996 - this is one of my favorite #loire wines #montlouis is on the other site of the river where #vouvray is. The bouquet is long and complex with honey, hay, star anise, tarragon and apricot, great balance. Twenty years old. A real treat! — 10 years ago

#vouvray verve - a little bit more RS on this #cheninblanc, crunchy green apple on nose and palate, still mouthwatering acidity and a bracing finish. I tend to favor a bone dry Vouvray but enjoyable nonetheless. — 3 years ago
