Very elegant, still slightly jammy & typically Aussie.
Blackberry & blueberry galore, with a minty, herby, edge. Ripe, yet fresh & enticing.
Impeccably balanced on the palate even if rich. The quality of tannins is so nice, the acidity so juicy, balancing the black fruit so nicely.
This is a very nice one. — a year ago
Paul Hobbs two nights in a row! Gold color. Very deep, thick wine with subtle acidity. Aged pineapple with stone fruits and subtle apricot, peach, and melon elements. Fairly unique and complex in my mind. I prefer other single vineyard Paul Hobbs Chards style wise but wasn’t bad by any means. 93.5 rounding up. — 2 years ago
The wines are the result of a shared passion of three winemakers: Paul Hobbs & Argentine parters Andrea Marchiori & Luis Barraud. Dark Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and complex spice. On the palate concentrated flavors of cherry and raspberry with toasty notes and pepper spice. Good balance fine tannins, lingering ending with fruit and sweet herb character. Nice, small production. — 7 years ago
Paul Hobbs Armenian wine. What an interesting treat. Would definitely get again. Drinks less oaky than a typical chard but super interesting. — a year ago
Secondary notes like black tea are becoming more pronounced, which I enjoy. It’s a different wine than when we first tried it soon after release at the winery. Both are really impressive. — 3 years ago
Dark cherry and violet aromas. Red, blue and black berry flavors with notes of black currant, earth and spice. A little Jammy, but the bright acidity keeps the wine in balance. Dark garnet color. — 5 years ago
This was rich and delicious especially with a tasty steak kabob. — a year ago
Wowza, this was like an old school Napa Meritage relocated to ARG. Infinitely smooth, velvety w/gobs of layered fruit, distinct chocolate note & flavor, perfectly ripe, not a hair out of place. This is Paul Hobbs working in the southern hemisphere cranking out the good stuff — a year ago
What on earth did they do to the label? It looks like the label of a $6 bottle of wine in my opinion. Sad. — 4 years ago

Love Paul Hobbs! What a cool collaboration. This wine is rich & elegant, but just right with a simple pasta at home on a cold Thursday night. — 6 years ago
