"I'm okay, pepper is okay," should be printed on the front of the bottle. The Syrah kind of takes over, not that I'm complaining. A nice red to counter the rare ribeye you pair it with.

Mature brownish red garnet. Transparent but youthful for its age.
Classic claret perfume from the first second of opening and kept getting better as the night went on. Truffle, shiitake mushroom, old leather, potpourri.
Complete integration with no sign of stumbling over the hill. Bright red fruit, smoky cedar, earthy soil tone, cooking spices. The mouthfeel is supple and elegant, no excess or pretension. Clean and fully mature.
