Really needed time to open up. First glass was a bit flat; with the bottle open a day you could really see the quality of the fruit and how it had developed with about four years of bottle age. Pale to mid Lemon in colour. Initial notes of Vanilla Oak - a bit of leesy funk. Palate is medium plus intensity with some citrus and ripe grapefruit - generous with minerality and good length - a buttery note on the palate. An excellent new world Chardonnay from Oregon.
