Great job, Fess….very enjoyable blend — 5 hours ago
Jeb & Parker 💯,
I bought a case for flipping purposes, but after discussions with @Severn Goodwin yesterday I became intrigued🤔. Its actually not as big a fruit bomb as anticipated,. Has some structural appeal & depth to it. But I still don’t know how you can tell the difference between Bevan, Myriad & Maybach and probably Silver Oak but it’s been awhile. — 16 days ago
29.99. Fresh, tropical fruit on nose. But sweeter than semi sweet, Thuy thinks dessert wine but could be nice with thai food. Really nice mouth feel, great balance. Stephen Reinhardt (Robert Parker) says age for 20 years — a month ago

Time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
This is a gorgeous Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley, from the great 2012 vintage. Rich, extracted, generous and fruit forward.
Full bodied and smooth, with medium acidity and a long finish.
Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, earth, chocolates, licorice, sweet tobacco, cola, coffee, mocha and peppercorn.
Drinking very nicely right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
Shows a really nice nose, that I kept on smelling for a while. Tasty and delicious. Showing great complexity and a great mouthfeel.
This 9 year old Magnum is delicious now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years.
Robert Parker 96 points.
Thank you Barry for sharing.
Grapes are from the To kalon and Beckstoffer Vineyards. A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Cabernet Franc. A tiny production of only 3 barrels.
15.1% alcohol by volume.

Deep gold color. Aromas of botrytis, dried apricot, pineapple and honey. Stunning! 2014 wasn’t the best D’Yquem I’ve had, but it always exceeds expectations.

2014 in 8/21. Saw I had this exact vtg previously and wanted to wait on the 2nd btl. Guess that's what THIS was. This btl waited hint too long. Fruits leaning bruised, baked. Still very enjoyable. Glad I drank it now like Galloni said and SUPER glad I didn't wait until '28 like parker said. Happy 48th bday. 14% Rdl Burg stem. — a month ago
