Beautiful bouquet, soft fruit, goes great with filet mignon. — 5 months ago
2018 green apple, lemon and slight stone. Very nice. — 4 years ago
2024 vintage. Ah yes...the "troublesome" 2024 vintage. Showing well now with light-medium/medium body and a good mix of usual suspect flavors and covert ones. The stylistically pleasing "acidity there if you want it." Picked up two cases. The Paul Pernot stuff usually runs slightly less than the majority of other applicable white Burgs. 6.3.26. — a month ago
2005. Perhaps a bit past its prime. But still excellent. Morphed to a chalky sense on the palate. Still loved it. — 6 months ago
From 4 lieux-dits in Meursault, aged in barrel for 12 months, 20% new, and in concrete eggs for 8 months.
This Meursault is radiant and expressive in the stellar ‘22 vintage. Aromas of yellow peach, baked apple, and a hint of hazelnut. Broad palate with creamy texture balanced by a fresh, citric line. Good depth and long finish. A charming Meursault with finesse. — 7 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2023 1er Chalumaux pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart orchard and tropical fruit: yellow apple, white peach, orange Cuties®️, pineapple, starfruit, lemon curd, white flowers, slivered almonds, and river rock. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and laden with minerals. Lovely balance. Classic. Drink now through 2043. — a year ago
The 2012 Fernand & Laurent Pillot Pommard Les Charmots Premier Cru is a truly captivating wine. With its deep ruby color and medium body, it exudes elegance from the very first glance. The fine lace tannins gracefully caress the palate, adding a touch of sophistication to this exquisite offering.
Upon nosing the wine, one is immediately greeted by a bouquet that is nothing short of enchanting. Plum and blackcurrant aromas intertwine with delicate notes of violet, cedar, and vanilla, creating a symphony of scents. On the palate, this wine shines with remarkable freshness and vibrant acidity. The blackcurrant flavors take center stage, accompanied by a subtle hint of white pepper that adds a touch of spice. The wine culminates in a captivating finish that leaves a lasting impression.
Overall, the 2012 Fernand & Laurent Pillot Pommard Les Charmots Premier Cru is a beautiful wine that provides an exceptional drinking experience. It is particularly remarkable as a first introduction to Pommard wines, showcasing the essence of this renowned appellation. With its superb balance and complexity, this wine is truly enjoyable and deserving of a rating of 95. It is undoubtedly a wine that one would gladly revisit time and time again. — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2023 “Noizons” pours a bright ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is youthful with abundant bright and tart red fruit with red florals: raspberry, strawberry, roses, mixed spices, and a combination of organic and inorganic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. A very pretty wine that is very young. I expect it to flesh out over the next five years and be quite lovely through 2038. — 10 months ago

Pale colour, hints of green.
This seems still quite young, fresh and very energetic. Lemon, green apple, white peach and chamomille, dusted with some spice and minerality. Terrific! — a month ago
